Principal Management Group’s “Seven Meadows Community” Proves It Cares
Homeowners Association Wins Two CAI C.A.R.E.S. Awards
Houston, TX February 25, 2010 - PMG Houston’s “Seven Meadows Community” wins the Community Associations Institute’s (CAI) local chapter “Beautification” and “Conservation” Awards for the fourth quarter 2009.
To win the “Beautification” Award, The Seven Meadows neighbors and PMG installed irrigation lines, grass and new plants on a median that it doesn’t own but is in the community. Greener is greater, so the team consulted a specialist to learn how to conserve energy, water and money through sustainable use of the buildings’ utility functions and won the “Conservation” award along with keeping more money in each neighbor’s pocket.
“I am so proud of the families in Seven Meadows and our team at PMG,” said Vicki Ward, President and CEO. “Working together to improve homes and lives is the goal of homeowners associations, and these successful projects prove that when we work as a team, we can achieve great things.”
CAI is a national organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations by providing education, tools and resources to people who manage homeowners associations. The C.A.R.E.S.(Community Association Recognition of Excellence in Service) program offers quarterly recognition to community associations in which neighbors provided assistance to another neighbor or community for the betterment of the community associations or local government.
